I first met Chris and Tiffany at the wedding for Chris’s sister, Jess and her husband, Ben in October 2007 (who’s brother’s wedding I shot just a few months earlier in Newport). Almost 3 years to the day, I had the opportunity to photograph this wonderful couple at the Public Gardens in Boston. Chris and Tiffany will be tying the knot on Cape Cod on Labor Day weekend 2010. This is one wedding in 2010 that I am looking forward to since I will be seeing so many familiar faces again.

Jennifer and Jarrett were my last Newport wedding couple for 2009 and it was an honor to photograph such a great couple. The couple first met in 1st grade and finally got back together years later. During the reception toasts at Belle Mer, the maid-of-honor asked, “What took you two so long??” The day was topped off by a sunset cruise out on the Majestic with a picture perfect sunset. Congratulations!!
Also, a special thanks to my wife, Carrie for help with covering the festivities.

After months of planning a long-distance wedding, Kris and Myriam’s day finally arrived. Just a few images with more to come after returning to the States. Congratulations to Kris and Myriam. I was very honored that you asked me to document your wedding day on another continent. It was great capturing all the moments you spent with your friends and family. A couple of more days of fun ahead.

With the rehearsal today and the wedding on Saturday, the only time to squeeze in a mini e-session was at sunrise this morning. Kris & Myriam were bright eyes at 6am for wonderful light on the coast of Praia, Cape Verde. Slow internet connection from Africa only allows the posting of one of many great images.

The last days of summer provided perfect weather for Chad & Mellisa with their ceremony at St. Mary’s in Bristol and the Salon at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. Congratulations and have a great honeymoon in Costa Rica!
Thanks again to Mark Andrew for lending an extra hand with covering the wedding.

Kara and Mark’s wedding was nothing short of perfect. Their wedding was at the Conanicut Yacht Club in Jamestown, RI on a idealistic Labor Day Weekend. Of course it helped that I photography the bride’s lovely sister’s wedding last year at Conanicut as well. The groom was joined by family and friends from his native New Zealand, which made for a bit of a ruckus with the locals a couple of days before the wedding.
Also, a big thanks to my wife, Carrie for helping me with great photos and making sure I stayed hydrated.

Third, but from least, JoeAnne & Shawn’s wedding at the Island House at Belle Mer was icing on the cake for the weekend. A few months earlier, we raced around lower Manhattan for an engagement photo safari. Knowing the great images resulting from their e-session, I knew it was going to be a fabulous wedding. With art-deco inspired Belle Mer, the guys in rat pack-styled suits and a stylin bride it would be hard not to capture great moments.
Another big thanks to Laurie McDonagh for second shooting and first rate images.

The second Belle Mer (the Salon) wedding for the weekend was literally picture perfect. Kristyn and Dan were such a fabulous couple to capture with their friends and family. The bride and her college friends even managed to demonstrate they can still bring it on with cheerleading skills. Congratulations!
Much appreciation goes to Mark Andrew for getting some great shots and providing a quick run for my backup 70-200 2.8 after dropping my 200mm 2.0 during the ceremony.
